TheSCS mission of Senior Community Services is to develop, coordinate and provide services that help meet the needs of older adults and support their caregivers.

Since its establishment in 1950, Senior Community Services (SCS) has been dedicated to meeting the needs of seniors and their caregivers. SCS offers a broad array of services, including professional care coordination, caregiver support groups, Eldercare Partners caregiver coaching and counseling, and CareNextion caregiver websites, Medicare and health insurance counseling, homemaking, home maintenance and chore services, meals on wheels and programming at six senior centers.

As a nonprofit, SCS relies heavily on volunteers to augment the professional staff, utilizing thousands of wonderful volunteers annually. Last year, volunteers gave almost 100,000 hours of volunteer time in service to seniors through our programs.
