Senior Community Services was founded in 1950. 75 years later, our programs empower over 30,000 seniors and caregivers every year.

This event will also serve to honor CEO Deb Taylor’s remarkable 17-year leadership journey, concluding with her retirement this May.
As CEO, Deb fundamentally transformed the organization by incorporating lean startup principles, cultivating an entrepreneurial culture that prioritizes innovation and responsive programming. Her strategic vision placed collaborative decision-making at the forefront, keeping Senior Community Services agile and mission driven. Under her guidance, SCS has established itself as a leader in the nonprofit sector and continues to meet the changing needs of older adults with forward-thinking approaches to community support.
