Caregiver Support Groups & Memory Cafes

Support groups offer a safe place for caregivers to learn from one another by sharing experiences, challenges, coping strategies, and humor. Groups are facilitated by professional licensed Social Workers. View calendar.

One-on-One Technology Support Clinics

Get one-on-one support for your personal device (smartphone, tablet or laptop) at one of our community-based Technology Education, Connection & Help (TECH) clinics. Each clinic is staffed by a knowledgeable, dedicated tech support volunteer with expertise in working with adults age 60 and older to navigate the digital landscape. Check your local senior or community center’s events calendar, search your local community education listings, or view our list of current locations.

Most of our staff speak English, and we coordinate with interpreting services and culturally-specific community agencies to best serve our clients.

I am writing to share the bittersweet news that, after much consideration, Deb Taylor will retire from her position as CEO of Senior Community Services (SCS) in May 2025. Throughout her 17 years of leadership, Deb has been a transformative force at SCS, guiding the organization with a vision that has significantly advanced our mission of Empowering People as They Age. She and her team's strategic foresight has led to the implementation of innovative programs that have not only enhanced the lives of older adults and caregivers but also strengthened community ties. Deb's commitment to fostering a culture of inclusivity and collaboration has inspired countless clients, colleagues, and partners. Under her guidance, SCS has established itself as a leader in the nonprofit sector, known for its compassionate service and dedication to supporting independence among older adults. Her collaborative approach to navigating challenges and implementing effective solutions, alongside our dedicated team, has fostered a culture of shared leadership and set a high standard for collective decision-making within our organization. As we prepare for this transition, the SCS Board will engage in a thorough process to select Deb’s successor. We are committed to finding a candidate who shares her passion for older adults and possesses a strong track record in nurturing a healthy, inclusive work culture while driving transformative change. We look forward to continuing our vision of Reimagining Aging by serving compassionately, connecting communities, and supporting independence!
