Outdoor chores
Volunteers are needed throughout the spring, summer, and fall to help with yard clean-up, garden prep, raking, and other outdoor projects on an “as needed” basis. There are also ongoing, recurring seasonal opportunities for lawn mowing and snow removal.
Home maintenance
Volunteers with skills in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and painting help with home maintenance.
Volunteer handypeople are only assigned projects that do not require a licensed professional or permit.
Technology support
Tech-savvy volunteers with patience and a passion for helping older adults can support regularly scheduled one-on-one clinics in various locations. Help with everything from texting, email, and video calls to device setup and security, adjusting features and functions, troubleshooting, and more.
Administrative support
Come in to our Minnetonka office to help with mailings, data entry, research projects, phone calls, and more.
Volunteer Requirements
Must be 16 or older to volunteer alone. Individuals volunteers must complete a background check and provide references as you may occasionally have access to sensitive information about our clients.
