Caregiver Support Groups are a safe place to trade stories, experiences, advice, and humor with fellow caregivers who understand what you’re going through. Groups are facilitated by a Licensed Social Worker who is experienced in supporting caregivers and familiar with local resources.

Memory Cafes offer respite and support at the same time for caregivers of those with memory loss like Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. A creative activity (such as art, music, or gardening) is facilitated at the same time as a caregiver support group. Caregivers may choose to join in on the activity or leave their loved one to attend the support group.

Groups are open to those caring for an older adult or someone with a cognitive diagnosis; the caregiver or care receiver must reside in our service area which includes Carver, Hennepin, Scott, Sherburne, and Wright Counties.

A minimum participant cost-share contribution of $5.00 per meeting is encouraged but not required. Call 612-770-7005 with questions or to register.
